When at Canaan be a Caleb

When at Canaan be a Caleb

I don’t know about you but whenever I move to a new promise land the enemy will come to send a few spoilers to capture my joy. At first I didn’t notice this and perhaps as a result of not pay attention to that part I let a few things discourage me. When the enemy can’t take it from you his goal is to minimize what The Father is doing or make you forfeit your own promise by rejecting it yourself.
Some of these things for example (and this may not be the best example) may look like a person inheriting a house that they prayed for but then the house has an infestation of spiders that you may have to drive away. While a person prayed hard for a house and God came through here is the “giant” to conquer in the promise land.
What I’ve come to learn is that when you commit yourself to the path that leads to God and sometimes even before you have committed, some things come as easy blessings that there were no hurdles to overcome but others, seemingly the bigger blessings have spoilers and it’s up to you how you view your spoiler.
Caleb was known in the Bible for his optimism. He was sent to spy out Canaan, the land that God promised Abraham for his descendants and of the spies that came back with the report that “we were like grasshoppers” to the giants in the land, Caleb’s posture was one of what might be said when something doesn’t faze us, “So?”. His “so” posture came not because he didn’t understand the magnitude of giants but because he understood the magnitude of his God. He didn’t allow what he was witnessing with his eyes to reduce his faith or minimize a blessing from God.
After years of being pessimistic over the giants in my promise lands. Ive learned to keep my “so” posture. When you do, it allows you to be fully present to experience your breakthroughs, your deliverances, your promised lands, etc. I’m reminding you that small blessings are still blessings and even blessings that “come with giants” can be overcome if you keep develop and maintain a victorious disposition. Life goes well for the people of God and if there are giants in your promised land remember this blessing came from your Father in Heaven who is fully capable of equipping you to defeat your giants no matter how great or how many.
What is impossible with man is possible with God ( Luke 18:27)
