Over the years I’ve noticed many Christians talking about the laws of God being very restrictive. One person may say that all God does is tells us is what not to do. To be honest, I have been guilty of this thinking at times. I had a wonderful conversation with God last week that I would like to share. The Holy Spirit began “I love you so much”. Father said– I love you so much I don’t want you to have to be burdened with the thought of breaking the heart of your covenant partner. I never want you have to deal with the guilt and the shame of perhaps breaking up another home. I want you to find the completeness that comes with contentment with your partner. So… Please do not commit adultery. Father said–” I love you so much that I never want you to have to deal with me oppression and emptiness and worshiping something other than Myself. I am your All in All. I love you so much that I don’t want you to look at any object or person and worship them instead of Me because there is no fulfillment in that. So, please do not make unto yourself any graven images.”
I love you so much that I never want you to feel anxiety about the future or about anything that you may need or want. I will provide for you, if you have faith. Because of this, do not be anxious about anything but in every situation by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving present your request to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
He’s the Good Shepherd, and He provides all we need.
